Description
The Events Panel has arranged a special visit to the museum for members of WCIT and their guests.
The Museum, which is housed in Block H of Bletchley Park, is where electronic code-breaking was conducted during World War II. The museum holds 70 years of computing history, including the war-time code breaking computer Colossus; a replica of the EDSAC computer being built by a team led by Liveryman Andrew Herbert, and the world’s oldest working computer, the Harwell Dekatron, aka WITCH. The museum is also home to much of the Computer Conservation Society activity (Past Master David Morriss is presently Chairman of this).
